Breathtaking Interior Designs Are Always the Goal
Interior designers are often asked about the origins of the profession – especially in the context of quality of life versus product. Has our modern quality of life driven our craving for high-quality design, or has design really been more of a primary impactor in defining how we enjoy wellness? In this article, I will draw on my experience in London’s prestigious interior design community to reflect on how the design process works from this perspective.
When interior designers begin engaging with a potential client, they will often ask about function. What is the desired purpose and use of the room or residence? The answer to this question has a profound impact on everything we do. If a client is desperate for luxury high-end London extravagance in the form of a damask settee, we may recommend a synthetic damask fabric instead of cotton or satin for a household that includes young kids and a pet dog. Breathtaking interior designs are always the goal, but only in the context of compatibility with our clients’ unique London lifestyles.
Interior designers will work hard to understand client requirements from the outset. Some professional London Interior Design consultancies will even have a series of highly structured interview questions that they routinely use. The interior designer will offer a free consultation at the client’s home – whether inside or outside London – to discover exactly what the client loves and hates about their current residence. Budget should be a conversation point from the very beginning. It is important to clarify whether the client prefers to be given fifteen different interior design options from which to choose, or just two or three.
One area that can be really challenging for the interior designer is when a husband and wife have different ideas about the desired outcome. This can happen regardless of whether the individuals are happily married or considering an impending separation. The interior designer sometimes gets “caught in the middle,” which can cause real tension.
In recent years, the London interior design community has seen a real upwelling in terms of social media and internet-enabled design opportunities. One of the most positive results is that would-be clients are now much better informed regarding interior design themes and concepts. Londoners read articles just like this one and start to get a sense of the interior design process even before we reach their front door or exchange our first set of emails!

Work from Home Ideas That Don’t Suck
All of us wish we would come up with great work from home ideas that will not only make us wealthy but don’t suck at the same time. I have responded to countless emails and texts from people asking me what they should do to make money at home. The answer to that very loaded question is that it is different for everyone.
The hope for most people is that might be able to take someone else’s work from home ideas and somehow magically turn that into a massive income with little or no effort. The truth is that you can take someone else’s work from home ideas and build amazing wealth but it will take time and effort on your part. The art of duplication is how any company or person ultimately becomes successful. Think of ANY successful person or company that you can. Now ask yourself this question; did they become wealthy by themselves? The answer most of the time is a resounding no… they built a company or idea with the help of others and surrounded themselves with like mind people with the same passion to succeed. If you are looking for the magic ingredient, there it is.
So, how can you generate residual income for yourself using someone else’s work from home ideas? Find something that interests you and that you are passionate about. I’m not talking about being passionate about being passionate or passionate about making money, everyone has that. I’m talking about work from home ideas that excite you. One’s that you can’t quit doing at night, and one’s that make you jump out of bed in the morning to get started. If you could ever find that, there is no way you won’t succeed! Passion is a hard thing to compete with.
Think about all the things that make you cringe about going to work every day. Make a list of these things and make sure that whatever work from home ideas that you come up with don’t include anything on this list. By the way, I’m not suggesting that everyone in the world hates their job… but if you loved it so much, you probably wouldn’t be reading this right now. Anyway, pick a topic or topics that are of interest to you. Can these topics be something that can be turned into work from home ideas? Are there other people you know or online that would be or already interested in this idea? The chances are that you will think of tons. If you like doing it, then I guarantee there are others.
Now, how can you take this work from home ideas and leverage them into a way of making money? This is where most people fail… You are going to have to in one way or another find it within yourself to sell something. How else do you think you are going to make money? I’m astounded by anyone that wants to act upon work from home ideas and doesn’t want to sell anything. Well, I hate to be Johnny Raincloud but that just isn’t possible.
To have great work from home ideas that are successful, you must be able to monetize a product, information or an idea and then teach others to do what you have learned. Just think about what you will be doing… telling people about something that you are passionate about, making a ton of money and teaching them to do the same… THAT’S IT and IT doesn’t suck!
This concept is so simple that it is hard for most people to grasp. It isn’t brain surgery and contrary to popular belief, it isn’t done by using the internet alone. There are many people right now that put too much emphasis on the internet when the real power is in relationships. Sure, you can meet new people online but NOTHING will happen until you build a relationship. I would almost bet that everyone reading this knows of someone struggling to make it in this economy. You could start with your next door neighbor and then walk down your own street and find enough people looking for a way to make money at home that it would set you and them up for life! Follow your passions, educate yourself as much as you can about the topic or topics that you have chosen and you will have found the best work from home ideas.

Hydroponic gardening with LED grow light
In recent times, LED grow lights are becoming very popular for hydroponic gardening due to various advantages. One of the major benefits of this lighting system is low cost of maintenance. The technology of LED grow lights is to emit only the color spectrum required for the plant photosynthesis. Hence, they consume less amount of electricity in comparison to the traditional lighting system and other grow lights. On an average, a LED grow light consumes less than 5 watts of power for operation.
In LED grow lights, wide-spectrum red light and narrow-spectrum blue light of specific wavelengths are configured in a particular manner. The red spectrum supplements natural sun rays, whereas the blue spectrum makes an ideal light for the plant growth. Thus, LED grow lights provide ideal light conditions for the better growth of all types of plants and/or crops. In addition, this lighting system contains no toxic mercury, which is used in fluorescent lights and metallic vapor.
There are several models of LED lights, each suitable for various types of plants and their successive stages. For example, some LED grow lights are designed for vegetative growth, whereas some are specially configured to promote flowering and/or blooming. Speaking about the installation, LED grow lights should be hanged or mounted in hydroponic gardens, as per the manufacturer’s guidelines. While using LED grow lights, the height should be maintained in such a way that it covers the maximum plantation area.
Another advantage of LED grow lights is the less production of heat. With minimum heat production, water requirement also reduces due to less evaporation. The problem of high temperature root damage and plant dehydration is thus solved by using LED grow lights. Hence, with this lighting system, there is no need for installation of fans or cooling ducts.
As this grow lights are available readily with plugs, no ballast is required for the initiation and regulation of the lights. Thus, there is no problem for ballast burning and/or replacement, which is so in case of fluorescent bulbs. LED grow lights are long-lasting; a superior quality may last for 10-12 years. Overall, LED grow lights are easier to maintain and cheaper than other lighting systems used for hydroponic gardening.
